About the Crew

BaRCSE is having a special night at the Columbia Fireflies game on May 27th!

Make plans now to join us for the game on the Wagalong Wednesday when you can pring your pup and help rep the rescue.

The Basset Rescue Crew of the Southeast (BaRCSE) was incorporated in 2009 in South Carolina. We received 501(c)3 non-profit status from the IRS in March 2010. We are entirely volunteer staffed and managed. Our goal is to become a multi-state rescue with volunteers and contacts throughout the Southeast that has the ability to safely transport and re-home needy basset hounds wherever they will find a loving home. Our focus will first and foremost be rescuing and providing necessary medical care to hounds who are in jeopardy of being euthanized.
